Our authorship model

United Pulse does not publish under individual journalist bylines. Every article carries the byline United Pulse Editorial Team, which is the collective editorial identity responsible for the site's content. We use that label deliberately rather than attaching stories to named writers whose credentials readers could not verify.

How our coverage is produced

Stories begin with credible reporting from established outlets covering Manchester United, alongside official club communications. That material is assessed for relevance and reliability, written up in United Pulse's own words and structure, and checked before it goes live. Where a claim originates with another publication, that publication is credited and linked.

Our writing and production process is assisted by technology, but editorial responsibility — what is published, how it is framed and whether it meets our standards — rests with the United Pulse Editorial Team.

What we are responsible for

• deciding what is published and what is held back
• checking claims against credible reporting before publication
• separating rumour from confirmed developments
• ensuring headlines accurately represent their articles
• reviewing and acting on reader-reported errors
• correcting, updating or retiring articles when the facts change

Our standards

The rules we hold ourselves to are set out in full in our Editorial Policy, and the way we handle mistakes is set out in our Corrections Policy. In short: accuracy over speed, context over volume, and no invented facts or quotes.

Independence
